Tradle Media Kit
Tradle is a clothing service for the new zero-waste, circular economy. To help manage our planet’s valuable and finite resources, Tradle supports change-making parents and local brands in their transition towards a less impactful fashion model where clothes are responsibly made, responsibly used and responsibly circulated.
The goal is to design a service that offers an easier way for everyone to access top-quality local products without having to own them. To make it easier to consume less and consume better. Collectively, we need to minimize our negative impact and begin to regenerate a healthy, sustainable planet.
As an alternative to rentals, where one pays for each use of the garment, with subscriptions, we want Tradle members to pay a low monthly fee for access to a library of clothes with the option to switch them whenever you want. Tradle simplifies the circulation, enhances the longevity and shares the responsibility for the clothe's end-of-life solution.
Phase 1. Curated 'capsule wardrobes' with mix-and-match items in the right amounts, right size, and for the right season from (a) Trade-Ins or (b) Local Brands.
Phase 2: Fully-Customized Capsule Wardrobes (coming soon)
Mission: To help new parents regenerate a healthy planet.
Vision: To manage our planet's finite and shared resources within a fair, equitable and regenerative circular economy.
In October 2019, Tradle soft-launched their 'clothes-as-a-service' business model to support parents and local brands begin the important transition towards a zero-waste, circular economy.
In May 2020, Tradle launched their clothing Trade-In + Personal Shopper campaign to help make the service affordable and accessible for all parents while making it easy to circulate unwanted, outgrown clothes to other families.
